Stella Ella Ola

A few months ago I found out that I will be interning at Stella McCartney in NYC this summer. This is the biggest news I have ever received and could not be more excited about this amazing opportunity. So I thought, in the spirits of Stella, I would take the time to look at/ show you some of my favorite McCartney looks.

I cannot get enough of these leopard pants, I don't know how long I have been obsessing about them but all I know is that I need them in my possession.
As I have already previously mentioned I have a weakness for onesies. I believe that this onesie takes it to a whole new sophisticated level. I would have to say that this is the hottest one piece i've ever seen in a long time. Definitely a man getter.
Love how even though she is such a famous/high class designer Stella can still make tapered pants and a stripped crew neck sweater look amazing and unlike any other sweater/ pair of pants out there

I love how this look is sophisticated yet sexy at the same time. I can't get enough of the drop v-neck on this sweater.
Stella McCartney Takes the tuxedo to a whole new level. I find that sometimes women's suits can look very boxy and as though they were not made for a women. But I find that this Tuxedo actually enhances a women's curves instead of hiding them like most other suits.

As you all know, I can't resist sparkles and this dress makes my addiction that much stronger

More Marchesa Please

I personally have never been a fan of large ball gowns, but after I saw what Marchesa had to offer, my mind was changed forever. I love how all Marchesa gowns are unlike any other gown on the market. I find Marchesa gowns to be beyond whimsical and that they give off a very fairy tail like feel. If I ever have a million dollars and a high class affair to go to, I will definitely be rocking a Marchesa to the event.

So, as you all know, I have already expressed my deep (maybe unhealthy?) love for the new fashion website thecoveteur.com, but when I stumbled across these amazing bracelets in Mary Kate Steinmiller's portfolio I decided they MUST be shared. Not only are these the most fabulous friendship bracelets I have ever seen but Mary Kate MAKES THEM HERSELF!

I know, hard to believe. I can hardly boil an egg but here Mary Kate is making these amazingly beautiful bracelets.

Maybe if I ever get the chance to meet her I could win her over with my good looks and charm and score one of these stunning bracelets.

The Skills

So most of you probably know Whitney Port from the reality television show, The Hills,but there is much more to this girl then gossip and petty fights. I have become a huge fan of whitney and her clothing line, Whitney Eve, over the past year. I love how all her clothes are so feminine and girly without being to over the top. This is her new Spring 2011 collection and I believe that she really out did herself this season. Im LOVING the floral kimono jacket along with the full length onesie (you will soon come to realize that I have an unhealthy obsession with onesies and the ability to get dressed within 5 seconds).

Way to go Whit, even you can make awkwardly cropped pants sexy (see picture 3)

Shakuhachi

LOVING the new spring collection of Shakuhachi. There is something about the florals mixed with tough biker boots that I just can't get enough of. I love Shakuhachi (which I have only recently discovered) because it is cool and unique without being too out there.

I want and need all of it.

DIE for Fashion

Rachel Zoe did an editorial awhile back for Harper's Bazaar which I absolutely loved. One of her well known "zoeisms" "I DIE" used whenever she sees an article of clothing that she or one of her clients cannot absolutely live without was taken and put into a creative and witty photoshoot. In this editorial you will see that some of Zoe's closest friends (Vera Wang, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors)are literally "killing" her with fashion.

Love how they took this literally. Love the designers. Love Zoe

Twinkle Twinkle

If there is anything I am obsessed with right now it's sequins. As tacky as they are I just can't seem to get enough. I love wearing sparkly bottoms (tights, skirt, shorts) with a neutral t-shirt or sweater. I know I wont be able to pull off sequins forever so why not abuse them now while I can?

Tacky or not, I will continue to wear them until someone rips the sequins blazer from my cold dead hands.

Rose Blouses

In the spirit of valentines day I decided to choose something I am currently LOVING for spring, rose colored blouses. I love how this colour can automatically make boyfriend jeans girly or a an oversize blazer feminine. I would personally wear mine with black skinny jeans and an army inspired jacket.

These roses are the closest I am getting to the real thing.

I love the way black leather looks with grey. There is something about the softness of the grey and the roughness of the leather that is so wrong, but yet so right.

I just bought a pair of leather shorts and haven't been able to decide how to wear them, but I think I just figured it out.

The Coveted Kleinberg

For those of you living under a rock, there is a new fantastic website out that has hit the fashion world by storm http://www.thecoveteur.com/. Originally called the coveted, but changed quickly because "thats fashion" is a new website that documents the closets of all major fashionistas. Created by Erin Kleinberg and Stephanie Mark, this is the next best thing since re runs of sex and the city on Cosmo. Erin Kleinberg, who I have admired since her first collection, has done it once again. I can't get enough and I doubt you will be able to either.
